A FRIENDLY NOTE FOR OUR FOUR-LEGGED GUESTS (AND THEIR HUMANS)

We love dogs — truly. And because Taos Goji is an active farm with livestock, wildlife, and shared spaces, a little structure helps keep the peace for everyone.

  • Dogs are not allowed on furniture.

Please keep dogs off beds, couches, chairs, and other furnishings.

  • Please don’t leave your dog alone uncrated. If you leave the property, your dog must be comfortably crated in the cabin. This keeps them safe — and keeps us from having to negotiate with a very convincing escape artist.

  • Leashes are required outdoors unless in a fenced cabin yard. Dogs may be off-leash in fenced cabin yards only, and must be supervised at all times. Outside of fenced yards, dogs must remain on leash.

  • Bathroom breaks happen outdoors, not indoors. Thank you for cleaning up promptly after your dog

  • Quiet hours apply to everyone. Occasional barks happen. Extended concerts do not. Excessive barking, howling, or whining may result in an additional charge.

  • Dogs are not permitted in open grazing fields at any time. We release livestock into adjacent grazing fields during certain times of day. Dogs are not allowed in these areas under any circumstances.

  • Please be mindful near animal pens and feeding areas. If a dog becomes overly excited, reactive, or begins barking at animals, the dog must be removed from the area immediately. While this behavior is natural for dogs, it is extremely stressful for our livestock and is not permitted.

  • If something breaks, we’ll figure it out together. Pet owners are responsible for any damage caused by their pets, just as they would be at home.
