This policy explains what information Taos Goji Retreat collects through www.taosgoji.com, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.

What we collect and why

Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (city or region), what device and browser they use, and how they found us. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and does not tell us who you are. We do not use it for advertising.
Gift card orders. When you buy a gift card we collect your name, email address and billing details, plus the recipient’s name, email address and any message you add, so we can deliver the card and keep records for accounting and taxes. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
Emails and calls. If you contact us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply and help with your stay or event.
Server logs. Our web host, Kinsta, records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running.

Bookings made on other websites

Reservations are made through our booking system and listing sites such as Airbnb and Hipcamp. Information you enter there is collected by those companies under their own privacy policies.

Cookies

Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga) to count visits and measure how the site is used.
Store cookies set by WooCommerce, only when you use the gift card shop, to remember your cart and complete checkout.
Login cookies for site administrators.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Who we share information with

Only the service providers that run the site and the shop for us: Kinsta (hosting), Google (analytics) and our payment provider. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Gift card and order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes. Emails are kept as long as they are useful for your stay or event. Analytics data is kept for the limited period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing taosgoji@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
